Whole blood models show different host responses to the same pathogen
Whole blood models can help elucidate the interactions between host and pathogen. The human whole blood model has been used for such studies. Now, Prof. Jacobsen and her colleagues also established the mouse whole blood model and observed different responses to the same pathogen.
